Anyone with much experience of American Classic hubs? I recently took delivery of a nice set of Tubeless Disc wheels, like these: http://reviews.mtbr.com/american-classi ... ess-review
Eventually I got around to swapping the front wheel over to a 9mm axle (15mm was originally fitted), as per the manual. However when I came to tighten the adjuster nut (even as far as it will go) and then the lockring, there's still a tiny bit of play detectable in the axle. I assume I can't tighten the adjuster any further and there's nothing on the other side to tighten it against anyway.
Are these hubs strange to adjust? The manual actually suggests they should be set up with "slightly more than no play", which is probably what I have. Otherwise, could the bearings be the issue? They seem to spin really nicely apart from this.
Cheers
