Current Supplies of Amberwall Tyres? it's a question often asked for people who want to ride retro and keep the look. I can start the ball rolling with:

Be nice if we didn't have another sticky, I already hate scrolling halfway down the page.

It would be nice if these topics could be in FAQs and posted to (so info can be added) and moderated reguarly to keep them simple after a bit.


I would say the wiki, but my logins been screwed up with errors on there for a long time now and for this sort of thing not as easy as a simple thread topic.
Wiki more for long drawn background information.


Also don't use the tiny links, we cannot see where and what shop it is linking to. Also the forum cannot pick up any it can cash in with.

Removed the tinys will add the onzas tomorrow only problem with them is they are 2.35 and that's just too big with most retro frames.
I haven't seen anything on the megabites at all it seems only panaracer have seen the retro market as a viable one so far.

First flight bikes do Ritchey Z Max in amberwall too. Go to the for sale section on the mombat site for a full selection of the tires available.

Removed the tinys will add the onzas tomorrow only problem with them is they are 2.35 and that's just too big with most retro frames.

It's an option and they fit in 80s Saracens it seems. CRC sell them to.

Heck 2.25 and some 2.1 will not fit in some retrobikes.

Yeah I remember they were on a Saracen at the peaks ride last year, but yep and option, 2.1 won't fit my sorcerer or my boys kona.

I thought firstflight sold another tyre but its strange that the search finds the timbuk2 and its own page in a different way to the overall tyres page. I'll add that tomorrow too.

Onza have these Canis tyres available ! little wider though at 2.25



Just took a spin out today on them and can honestly say they are great
