changed gearing from 16 to 18 which suits me better, went all red with headset and skewers, fitted some lovely NOS Conti dual compound tyres, my old black Answer Hyperlites and to finish it off, a very nice red X-Lite L168 stem
my second USE SUB fork, along with a matching specific front hub laced to an unusual Tioga Factory rim, bit of a stripe theme going on......
i have another couple of brand new Tioga rims that i got with the front wheel, so will be able to build a matching wheel-set
stripped the fork and checked it over and it's in perfect condition, the only downside being that the decals are a little worn and faded, but i'll get Gil onto reproducing some new ones for it, hopefully!
and while i was at it, put it back to 1 x 9, it just suits me more
they ride great! torsionally more rigid than a standard twin leg suspension fork, with no deflection what-so-ever, and this has anti-dive too, so you don't get pitched forward when you hit the brakes!
gotta love the engineering though, looks like aircraft undercarriage!
