Aluminium Forks - Orange E3

Dirt Disciple
To go with an Orange E3 which I'm converting back to being fully rigid.

I would like something that looks fairly original (i.e. bare metal look) but would not be too fussy.

Pretty sure it's a 1" diameter as I remember that causing me a few issues before.

As for what type... could I have a clue? ^_^

There are circular bearings consisting of exposed ball bearing mounted into a plastic/metal ring such that it is able to rotate freely. Sorry, pretty new to this.

Sorry, I should have explained better. Is the top of the stem threaded or not?

I would think threaded, but I'm no expert on Orange.

OK; the alloy Orange forks I have are threaded.

Never mind, I'm sure somebody will be able to help.

I currently have a pair of Marzocchi Z1s on there and the more I think about it the more certain I am that they're threadless.

It doesn't have the original headset on at the moment, so threadless is not ruled out.

E-3's

They should be threaded, but could have been converted to Ahead. I have two pairs of Prestige forks, but for smaller frames, what size frame is it?

I'm away on work at the moment but I'll double check when I get back home.

What's the giveaway sign I should look for (is there a thread on the actual steerer tube?)?

Thanks for the help!
