Altek or Kooka hydr brake levers, Shimano XTR 950 triggers

Hi,

I am looking for a set of Altek or Kooka hydraulic brake levers.
Color should be red.

Also looking for a set of Shimano XTR 950 8 speed triggers. (SL-M950)

Why not TWP levers? (they're supposed to work better than the Kooka ones).

I did not had them on my radar. But the Altek ones look better to me and are my first choice.

As far as I heard the Altek ones are the best quality wise, followed by the TWP ones and lastly the Kooka (they're kinda' fragile). I just got a pair of TWPs still need to hook them up to my HS33. Unfortunately I think the Altek levers are the rarest of them all.

I agree. I had luck to find a set of red Altek's some month ago which were in excellent shape.
These are installed on my 1997 RM Element and I would like to build up my 1996 Vertex the same style.
But I do not expect to be that lucky again. If not, I might stick with the Magura 10th aniversary brakes. I have NOS set of these.

There's nothing wrong with the stock Magura levers, the aftermarket ones are lighter but function wise not any better, oh and they do look cooler... (the aftermarket ones)
I guess you'll going to have to play the waiting game and ride the stock Maguras while waiting.

Yes, I will. I have enough parts to build up the bike and then wait until the goodies I am look for pop up somewhere.

Btw., those JFK levers look awesome! I didn't read through everything but are they for Magura hydrostoppers? If they were still in business I would be interested in a pair.

Yes, they are for Maguras. I will try to get in touch with them and let you know.

The JFK Enigma brake levers for Magura are not produced anymore but it looks like he still has some colors in stock.
I will get a silver/red set.
