Need a new hack bike and seen this for sale:

Know there is plenty of interest in Alpinestars here but mostly for the older e-stay design (if that's the correct term). Therefore wondering whether this standard mtb version this was worth a punt? Or were their best years behind them when they built this model?

Best avoided

a badge engineered model made for the UK importer Moore Large.

300 quid retail, crappy alloy cantis and gripshift.

Ran them as hire bikes BITD- not the most reliable......

was 60 quid in the ad i think- not good value when you can pick up a clockwork for under a ton on ebay
