Do they have issues like the e-stay frames?

Probably not as desirable as the e-stay but still look good.

Looks nice and fresh, nice find. No issues with these or the steel estays tbh. There was a factory recall on alloy stems for that era, so if its got one of those fitted think about changing it, but from the pics I think its a steel one fitted to yours.

Chainset looks modern, apart from that, looks good!

Well I ended up buying it. Should be a quick turnaround, strip, clean, new cables, saddle and crank.
