Alpinestars Cro Mega LX `92

I have just bought this one a 19" bb centre to top tube centre
Plan is to restore her to her former glory.
Non standard biopace chainset suntour thumbies and an exage rear mech
Iwill try and buy my sisters old cro mega for parts.

good to see another alpinestar, there are a few on here now, and a lot of very knowledgeable alpinestar fans around that have been a life saver for advice.

It will need sandblasting powdercoating and new transfers
I see though that the existing paint is slightly pearlescent
which would not be achievable with a powdercoat.
I quite fancy the flouro paintjobs too any ideas if they were
avaliable on this model.
My sisters bike was the pink fade conventional frame

Ooh like it! Is this the one that was on eBay recently?

Let me know how you get on if you're thinking of getting it resprayed - it's something I'd be interested in getting done with my Cro Mega too.

Was watching this one on ebay but the auction never finished. Hope you got it for a good price

The chainset looks like an XT one and if so I know someone that really wants one like that if you're going back to LX.
