That's the correct way to do it - to eliminate stress risers.

ok guys and girls, hope you are sitting down, its just my guess that the seatpost was stuck and some gorrilla has done this to remove, i can't think of any other reason?

That's a real shame as it looked a great buy in the ad.

If you decide to bin it.... I would be interested as I'm trying to replicate the graphics for my Al-Mega and Gil_m doesn't have these on file. I'm also trying to colour match the pink too.

Let me know if you do, although it's trashed... it would still have some use to me.
