Alpine Stars Cro Mega1992. Original! Advice

Found 1992 Alpine Stars Cro Mega, original, just needs clean up, been stored inside. 500 / 400 Exage LX groupy. What would you give? ££
Frame in great condition. Rust spots but overall nice find!

I had a '92 Cro Mega LX in white:

I paid £180 for mine from another Retrobike member a few months ago. It was 100% original and in excellent condition.

The bike in the picture that says its 100% original, is nearly original, wrong seat, seat post and pedals, i have got a cro mega and although i have changed a few parts i still have all the original bits the original seat is an avocet, the post is just black in colour unbranded and the pedals are black/alloy with toe clips. These bikes vary in price some people seem to get them really cheap, but if you look on ebay they sometimes go for silly money. its only worth what someone will pay at the end of the day, when i bought mine in 92 from the shop i paid £575 and that included a set of onza bar ends which i still have, i would say if you get less than a couple of hundred quid and its in good condition you wont go far wrong.

If you're referring to my old Cro Mega, the originals were in the shed. I fitted a new post/saddle/pedals as the seatpost was a bit short and the saddle was uncomfy!!

i bought a really nice cro-mega from gt steve for £180
a couple of years ago , wouldnt sell it for any less now

just had a look on ebay and there are a couple of bikes for sale there an al mega at £220 or best offer, and a DX starting at £99.99 both say they are 91 models both have been painted, will give you an idea on price looks like you should budget for about £200 quid
