Hi there again my beloved Retro Fellas; here´s my latest build: an Alkon Pirineos ... Alkon ? say what ? Alkon was one of the few ( and first ) Spanish framebuilders; back in the early 90 ´s they started building the Pirineos; the first one of the family ... mainly aluminium frames ( Oria ) with “ a la Klein “ rear end´s.

Here´s Tomás Perezagua, the founder:

Here´s some of their works:

How were they made:

Some info about this brand in the Spanish Classic forum:

As said above, the Pirineos was their first work available at bike shops and the inspiration to build my `93 model:

oooh very beautiful!
I like it very much.
Very good job. I have another Alkon waiting for a restoration, but it's a basic model with Manitou 3 and Deore XT.

Realmente increíble, la verdad. Buen trabajo.

Wow! Does look a lot like a Klein from some angles, especially the one in the magazine with rigid forks ;)

Superb. Is it all NOS!?

Well done its stunning. Great catalogue scans as well. They should go on the archive section.
