I was not referring to the 717, but to the 300 g Stan‘s 355 Race rims, as I could not find any reference to those as rim brake versions.

They was known as a «disc» rim, but it is a normal 355 canti rim orginaly, who are etched so hard to shave weight. So you can run them with canti just as a normal 355. Brake wall is the same, only thiner/ lighter. Weightweenies people were use them as canti wheelset when they were in production. The ZTR Podium 290g rims who came after this, was a disc only, disc walls, not possible to run with cantis.

Expected 317gr, weights 313gr with carton so about 310gr. I will know later once mounted I will weigh the carton box

There are lighter chain than that - you can use 9 or 10 sp chain on 8 sp so have wide choice

Mechanic told me that the chain for 9speed would not go very fine because it could jump on a pinion. Also I will try to see if Paul and 8 speed casstte works on the Campy Record OR

My Bianchi has 10 sp - my Dynatech has 9 sp. fine as fine can be - slimmer chain probably shifts better

Now comes the issue, V Brakes seems to be not working, and I don't want to rip the transparency cable that outs from the frame. Any ideas ? also, how the brakes can bounce

any idea or pic how to to get V Brakes working on a cantilever frame ? and better if these Steinbach ?
Or Any super light cantilevers alternative ? the steinbachs weights only 99gr the pair

Tune sticky craze, 75g, i have many of them, but shipping «with a safe and trustwortly company is 600 euro from norway. V brakes is horribel on a frame like that! Not the lightest option either.
