Alejandro's (Klein) Adroit 1992 Green Gator Target sub < 7Kg

Look, the adapter vwbluethunde is showing in his photograph is the only clean way of making a V-brake work on this frame. The only other way is to enlarge the drill hole of the cable exit, but I beg you to refrain from this option. It would cause me and probably others here physical pain if you destroy this extremely valuable and pristine frame by such savagery.
But even the adapter is a far worse solution than a set of good, light weight, and time correct cantis, if you can get hold of a pair.

You will need this adaptor

Like this ?
But will I neeed to get out the original cable ?

You have to get rid of all of that ,
Yes ,remove completely the white teflon liner from his original route and pass the brake cable through the tube into the adaptor I posted you before.

cant believe your mechanic dont know about it...
If I were you I would do all the work by myself.

The Klein v-brake adaptor is for MC2 era frames, not MC1. It will still damage your frame.
Just ditch the v-brake idea and go for cantis.

Yes, indeed, you are absolutely right, how could I forget that?
