I had an Alan / Guerciotti CX and it had the same top tube, which made sense on a CX frame.

the tape is the famous "Benotto tape" 80's
Made in rubber with non-slip finish, very elegant and light

Attention! the frames you've attached are older!
(you have to observe the triangles inscribed in conjunctions)


80's frames are different in many construction details
and MAYBE also changes the name!

(in late 80's i'm sure that the name are different, my doubts are in mid 80's)

is a good luck charm that had mounted the previous owner.
It is part of the history of the bike and although I'm not superstitious I do not want to remove it
