Airborne 2000 Lucky Strike DB Rebuild

....just came over here from the BV build thread and the suspense built as I clicked through then ...argh .... Left hanging! Did it get finished? Seemed to be so close!

Thanks for the comments :D

With regards excuses for not finishing it yet, please feel free to select a suitable reason from the BV thread

In all honesty, if it can be finished for summer night riding, I will be happy :D

I've just read all 9 pages, and loved every second of it. Your attention to detail is like nothing I've ever seen before. Certainly makes me feel better about spending 300 quid on bike bits.

You've given me some cool ideas, like the crown race tool and crud bung for the forks.

I'd be interested to know where you sourced that Chinese seat clamp for £13.99.

Thanks for the comments

The bear valley actually has far more work and detail gone into it - differnt style build though ;-)

The clamp came from eBay seller 'virtualvillage-uk-rho' and was item number 280510548216 (Acording to my receipt) but I am not sure if they are trading or selling them anymore ? A few bought them off here, I think tintin was one ?

just spent a large amount of time reading this today.
i'd love a Ti bike, but would be afraid that once i got it, i'd need to justify its existence by buying more Ti parts and components! no wonder you are taking your time with it! :)

lovely work, extremely well considered and thoughtful progress, love it :)

hopefully i'll see this thread pop up again with an update soon!

p.s. - where did you find that fork bung? when i saw it, i though of an old 35mm camera film case/lid.....
