aheadsets intrgrated vs semi intrigrated

up until now I ve only fitted standard headsets with bearing cups

my mongoose frame takes intrigrated aheadset the bearings fit into the frame ( the previous owner has left them in they don't seem to fit into any time of bearing cup just direct into the frame

whats the difference in semi intrigrated an intrigrated aheadsets please

I looked into this recently, traditional headset uses regular headset cups, external to the frame.
Semi integrated uses headset cups that are housed within the frame/ head tube, gives a very low or zero stack height.
Integrated headset uses the head tube of the frame as a bearing surface.

Integrated use cartridge bearings though so the frame isn't actually used as the bearing race.
