After Market V-Brake Posts/Bosses

All, forgive me for bothering you here, but some of you have been very helpful in the past. I have posted on other boards, but with no success.

What I am after is a "thing" that allows you to install V-brakes on a disc only frame. I am only talking of the rear brakes here of course. I saw them on the web some time ago, but can't recall the site. It was possibly a UK site.

How they work is that there are two clamps (like hose clamps) that attach to the stays. Then a brake booster is attached for strength.

Every time I ask this question, I am told to stick with disc brakes. Bit I like (love) V-brakes. Thought I might get a sympathetic hearing on these boards.

Xizang, I really appreciate your response. I need to be sure I am ordering the correct parts though. By looking through the sites that you provided, the Big Cheese from AirBomb seems to be the one that I require - is that correct? The other look like "converters" if that makes sense - I have no bosses whatsoever on the stays.

I would suggest either the dna or the airbomb one.
did something similar myself years ago... but that was fitting a canti to a BMX!!!

Big Cheese from AirBomb looks like the correct one for you. If at all unsure contact the shop which sells them. Most shops are really helpful, I've found anyway, when it comes to things like this. Glad to be of help
