Use myhermes for most things. Have had a few issues with them (the overweight parcel scam sent 3 middleburn chainrings and they claimed they were over a kilo), but considering the amount of times stuff gets to the other end fine, a very small percentage. You wont get a bike posted with them though.
Just sent something via paisley freight. Used them before for bikes and as said, excellent service.
Had more issues with RM than any other put together, but that really tends to be posting overseas. The last few items I sent went missing, wait and compensation process is designed to make you walk away (which for a set of £300 forks was not an option).
It seems RM and MyHernes are both taking advantage of the current situation by putting their prices up though. It's not a lot, justvdoesnt sit right then they are probably one of the few businesses benefitting from the lockdown.
One gripe with myhermes collection is cost of collection. I don't mind paying a fee for it, but if I'm having 4 or 5 items collected, I have to pay the collection fee 5 times. Seems to be it should be one fee, as they are already coming to your address so it's not costing them more to collect more than 1 parcel.
