I went and bought some of these last week. I've done 500 or so km's in them and can confirm that they are the Dogs Balloons.

Super comfy and I think they look smashing. No leather and they don't stretch when wet and I've paired them with Look Keo pedals.

mm how much ?
its true cheap any thing is always going to break or wear out quicker and after an 80hr week the last thing
i want to do is replace or repair stuff.
i can vouch for shimano though despite their sizing, just dont try and wash them in the w/machine

The only problem with my Shimano (aside from the odd sizing) is that they are silver........

I have one pair of Fizik R3's in bright red (my winter shoes) and another in (Persil) white (my summer shoes).

The Italians certainly have style... me? I have bright shoes (there's no place like home....)

yes indeed silver not gold.
no they were niether they were them green ribbond poor mans things long dead. they may have survived had the wash cycle been cooler .
yes silver,silver is the new incolour for cycling shoes i declare ! :|

The two show styles that fitted me well were recessed cleat mtb or touring shoes that won't take speedplay cleats?
