I’ve had the frame upside down & the post in a vice, problem is it sheared off almost flush to the frame, now I’m left with nothing to grip, tried hacksaw blades cutting it & a screwdriver but it’s welded stuck & im doing more harm than good i think
Think the post will still come out but I think you may have trashed that tube where the screwdriver shadow is. It’s an Mtrax or later Dyna-Tech? Don’t think I’d trust it once the bonded area has been interfered with. On the plus side someone on here was looking for some of those cable guides on the top tube if you have to scrap it!
I tried hitting it down with a screwdriver hoping the same & that’s when I nearly popped out the side .yeah It’s a m-Trax team titanium, it’s the stx Ltd edition one, I was lucky enough to find a replacement frame last week on market place but don’t really want to scrap this one if it can be saved, honestly it’s like it’s been welded
He's a guy that just deals with stuck seatposts. When I visited he had quite a few frames sent in from bikes shops who use him rather than attempting it themselves.
