Advice needed: Avid Arch Rival 50 spare parts

Hi everyone,

I bought these two pair of Avid V breaks and found out that in one pair the nipples that go into the fork studs are missing:

Does anyone happen to know whether I can in fact find these nipples to buy (I looked online and couldn’t find anything)?

Surprisingly they are removable!

Shimano V brakes don’t have this part as removable which makes sense I think.

I've experienced this problem. Cannibalise a pair of Avid 20 or 25's. I picked up a damaged pair of 25's for peanuts. Careful though, as some of the SD models are different and might not work.

As above, cheap set of avids mat yield the part you need. Shimano may be non removable but when they break, it's toast. Ah for the days when you could buy slates and rebuild things rather than consigning them to landfill.
