Advice about spokes

SJS do spokes in packs of 6 and theres an ebay seller doing 4's.

I looked at them worked out far more than CRC's prices (SJS), if you need 32/36 anyway.

Even looked at 144 packs from Pedra and similar people, still worked out more expensive except for some special offer odd size.

I think you can get sapim cheaper but I don't know them to well or who stocks them.

there is a guy on STW selling spokes for 0.40 each i think , and you can choose the number you want .

i always round mine up too .

What spokes are they as the DT Comp (standard DB) incl. nipple are in effect 41.6p each at CRC (delivered)

and the DT Champ (PG) are in effect 27.75p each, though would only recommend these for commuter style use.

Check out this website to confirm spoke length.

it maybe worth investing in the book on this site.

A bit of lubrication especially if using alloy nipples is good advice. I used to use copperslip. A touch on the threads and a touch between the eyelet in the rim and the spoke nipple.

for the info his website take 0.3mm off the actual calculation, (for real world improvement) but that is designed around his methods of spoke length.
