Ads Popping Up

Anyone else started to get ads popping up when clicking on certain parts of the forum?

Yes only around a couple of weeks ago. It’s quite annoying and has actually had the effect that I use the forum less now. Whether that’s a good or bad thing

I get one every now and then... just had one for some 'T' topped hex keys from Machine Mart.... nice.

Sadly, this has become an irritating part of many forums.

On here, it is usually when the adstream people changes and John pops off to find out how to alter it.

It's not so annoying on the mobile site, as it's a quick tap on the cross. No idea on the desktop as only use then when I need to.

Bring a few Micro-pennies in while it is active.

Yes, i mentioned it on the "site issues" thread . Its getting pretty annoying tbh. About every 5th click i get a full page advert.

It beats the ads being hidden amidst thread posts as though they are legit responses. Those really kill it for me. If a sporadic pop-up is needed to keep the forum from going bankrupt, I’m willing to tolerate it.
