Has to be easy?
Found info on bleeding but dont think that helps?

The adjusters are at "max" to work on my fat-rimmed wheels, and cant use my thin-rimmed wheels at all with them

Please help / post a link

Even looked here http://www.support-english.magura.com but I must be a retard or something  as I cant find this basic info!

Thanks for the tips, I swapped the orientation but maybe this brake booster has got an other hole missing? the front is the same so cant swap them, the front brake works fine.

These aren't the thin rims, but I need the "pad wear" adjustor's to be what I adjust between the 2 sets of wheels ideally.

Looks like the booser has had the extra hole filed off. I've seen quite a few pics of these boosters with the extra hole files off to allow for wider tyres.

Kev,

Yes, the booster should have two holes on the left for narrow spacing :x

Which will help. But there is another adjustment which hasn't been mentioned:

If you disassemble the brake, you'll see thet there's a set of ribs around the piston:

Around which there's a spherical black nylon clamping collar:

This can be slid from side to side along the ribbed section of the piston to move the piston in or out, relative to the grey/silver/black piston clamp.
You should be able to feel the piston ribs engaging with the ribs inside the collar:

In your photos, it doesn't look as if you've moved the pistons in as far as they'll go.
You've already flipped the clamps (compared to my pictures), but you should still be able to gain another 12mm or so overall :)

The Maguras are a bag of bolts when it comes to adjustment, but they're great when they're set up.

Happy fettling :D

What he said. In the pic it looks like one caliper's about half-way across and the other is right the way out. At the very least, having them the same both sides is good :)

I have to say that this thread has been highly informative. I am about to take delivery of my first set of maguras, and aside from how to bleed them/adjust cable length, I think I know almost as much as I need to know to fit them when they arrve. Thanks for the useful tips, and if anyone has any more on bleeding and cable resizing, please let me know.
