Adding Build Threads To Your Signiture

I've done some digging on here prior to asking this and I am still confused. I see many of you have links to your build threads in your signitures. How do you do this?

For example I know simple HTML code would be <a href="http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=279325&start=10">1990 Brodie Catalyst</a>

However that doesn't seem to work? I am sure I saw this question answered before on here but I am coming up short when I try to look for it?
