MMmmmmmm! Just think of all the chain lube/assorted gunk that you injected into your leg!

Indeed, thankfully it wasnt tooo bad, no where near sterile clean but it was the outer ring on my road bike, a gear that rarely sees action so wasnt coated in a layer of crapped up lube.

Bones sticking out from where bones have no business sticking out of is the one thing that induces nausea.... even in films. . .

Lol, i quit like to see abit of bone every now and then, well aslong as it is not on me!!!! i was an Embalmer for several years so things like that dont bother me, i have had to put hundreds of bodies back together, am i just wierd!? lol ;)

  • Place: Forrest of Dean
    Time: March 2009
Cause: Me being a skill-less ass on a large jump on a downhill course.
Resultant injuries: Broken Collar Bone, Internal Bleeding from a bruised kidney, 2 cracked ribs, 1" open gash to the back, biggest most brutal looking bruise I have ever had...yes it was all rather painfull

I think that's the biggest bruise I have ever seen, I've never come off with anything more than a few bruises, from seeing these posts, I guess I have been lucky

Same here iv been lucky i once did a 20ft endo into a tree when i was learning how to jumped at Stainburn forest about 4years ago, that was sore and made me ache for a few days, iv had the odd bruise but thats about it really, oh once i came of doing what we named the deathslide due to it being a 60 degree angle of clay and about 30ft long, i rode it in winter and came of spectaculy at the bottom and wacked my helmet into a tree stump and it gave me a long horizontal bruise across my forehead from the helmet,
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET

Nah I am with ya buddy, I earn a living designing medical devices which involves occasional visits to theatre to witness procedures, and at the other end of the scale, cadaver trials If you think a bike is a beautiful machine, check out the Human body. It truly is amazing.

Cool Jerky, you are telling me how can you grow organs back and have the ultimate waterproof coating, although compared to animals we are pathetic, they dont need dressing or extra layers in winter, they can jump or fall 100 times there hieght and survive, it just goes to show we are weak but on the other hand we are the most powerfull creatures alive, and what do we do in return, abuse it and take it for granted, that poor heart beats away never letting you down EVER and somw people pump it with alcohol fags faty food and zero excersize and it still beats away.
