A Very British Klunker

Hand dressing came off today and as long as I don't put too much pressure on it I can resume light spannering, so time to tackle the rear end.
After watching it done on the Web I fashioned a spreading tool with some long M8 bolts and penny washers. The spacing was 110mm to start with.

Kept winding 🤨

And winding until I got to 150mm as there was always going to be some spring back

Left it for a few minutes then unwound everything and fitted the hub...

Spot on..added a couple of spacer bolts and wound it together

Hub spacing is now 130mm
I have noticed that the non drive side chainstay has a little bow in it from what looks like where the kickstand was judging by the poor touch up job. Now the rear end is rigidly bolted I may have a little go at massaging it out.
