Watched this a couple of months back and didn't think it was as bad as it was made out though I did like the end... Couldn't see the point in the cut as I thought that the bits that were removed were key to making the plot hang together. Felt a bit tainted afterwards but its only a film, and a piss poorly acted one at that...

I quite agree. TheUK release is tactfully cut, but the scenes work well to portray the characteristics of the 'producer' character. It is a bit heavy at the end though. Still, like you say, a film is a film. Its isnt real.
