A real collectors piece for sel! Vicini from the 80s.

Are you sure it's 70's?

Concealed cables, braze on front changer, under bracket cable routing, allen key brakes etc. All these point to an 80's frame to my mind.

However, nice bike.

Yeah, probably you are right Ned, maybe it is from the early 80's. I just found an front derailer on a web shop for sell. They wrote its from 82'.
Sorry for that.

I looked over the net and I couldn't found to much about Vicini, just that, that it is a still existing bike trade.

If some of you guys has some info about Vicini's history please let me/us know. I heard that, maybe Vicini bikes ware made by Colnago. Anybody any idea about that?

I think its an amazingly beauty full and rare bicycle in its condition.

And it's still for sell!

I will kill someone for that saddle....
(I know, rest of bike is cool too :)

.........is it because it's a red Turbo or because it has Bernard Hinault printed on the side?

I ask because I have a red Turbo in the shed.

(Apologies for the thread hijack)

What's so special about it? I've got one on my Duralinox (well, it is French!) and I paid a fiver for it at a jumble complete with a seatpin.

Are you telling me I could make a handsome profit - and keep the seatpin?
