I've been lurking and getting a little bit of info off here for a while, so I thought I'd do the right thing and show my face 
I'm not sure whether anyone else has this problem, but I have an unhealthy fetish for collecting classic road bikes, and currently have probably 30+ of them, and another 20+ mixed retro bikes too, BMX's, Choppers, Commandos etc. Sadly/stupidly, I sold a few of the better ones last year, and left myself with 'work in progress' bikes, although a few are really nice.
I was lucky to have a good supply of bikes in the last couple of years, from a bloke who had the tender at the local tips, but sadly he hasn't been able to carry it on. I also pick them up from the car boot sales etc, I've had 2 from the last couple of weeks (Raleigh Record Ace and a Record Sprint), but like most of my stuff, they need some work.
So, I'll be making a start on the Ace very soon, and will add progress reports as I go along if anyone is interested.
