A Question about cleaning a frame up

T-cut is excellent with paint - I partially restored a vintage white Raleigh frame for a friend and it made the white look like new - just cuts off all the light marks and scuffs and staining. But you should always test an area first for colour fastness, and also the decals. I've never had a problem, and you're only talking about microns its removing. Only be concerned if your cloth starts turning completely the colour of the frame!

Then, typically, I give it a wax with automotive Autoglym deep shine wax, and it fends of the dirt and grime for a good while whilst looking stunningly shiny. Works even on a ratty frame....

Also, fyi, for plastics and rubbers, Meguiars trim detailer will revive dull plastics to like new. Careful on tyres though, it will make contact surfaces slippy...
