And she rides like a motor cross trials bike. The tyres are just epic in combination with the wide riser. You can hear the tyres grip flexing like an octopus or something.

The Avids tuned up a right treat. For the moment, she is cabled up with the ‘NOS smoked x-Ray 800 shifters‘ just so I could make sure the chain/drive had no excuses for slippage or wear and the likes from used original parts. Everything seems tight which is nice. So might put the clear x-ray with the correct decals on in due course, but no rush.

Still some bits to do, but couldn’t resist the early tester ride, all be it a gentle one with just a few wheelies.

The cockpit view with the sound of the Hugi hub is quite something when you’re riding along. It’s very theatrical !

Looks like you've cut them a little short?! Were these complimented by a ripped and tanned torso just like JMC back in the day?

Back to the bike itself. What an absolute beauty. Great to see how this has progressed over the years and well done sticking with it. I'd be grinning from ear-to-ear too if I rode this.
