a further Team ONCE Look - here the Titanium made LOOK KG 292

presenting another piece within my collection of replicas of Grupo ONCE Teambikes

here the favourite teambike of Swiss rider Alex Zülle - a 1st Gen LOOK KG 292 frame set (seatpost diameter was 25 mm with fixed the seatpost with a grup screw) made of Titanium 3AL-2,5V by the Spanish Titanium manufacturer THT combined with a yellow LOOK LDS Pro fork, same as used within ONCE's workhorse in the 90s LOOK LDS KG KG 171

The LOOK KG 292 had been equipped with the 9-speed Shimano DURA ACE combined with a 3ttt bar and MAVIC's 2nd gen GP4 tubulars rims
...and of course with the ST-7700-brake lever combination as it was typical at Manolo Saiz Grupo ONCE Team in 90s

one day I will have a titanium road bike.... interesting that in the pic, zulle has red pedals and not yellow? The yellow ones match the fork better though

Very nice. Is that grub screw for the post like the Vitus one that actually presses directly against the post? The bonded carbon Look frames had a wedge which is probably more forgiving on a carbon post (and 25.0mm posts are not the easiest thing to find).

Are they ceramic rims, or the ones that wear through silver?
Zulle has got a silver track.

How does it ride?
I guess it's quite light?
