Forgive my ignorance, but what's a V-Jobby? :?
Does it fit around your seatpost? In which case do they come in different sizes? Feel I'm barking up the wrong tree!

It sits just below the seat bolt on a Kona. This came off a 95 Cinder Cone, so whatever size that is.
