Had an hour or two every few weeks on this, now I'm about 98% of the way there.
Manitou Xvert forks from donor, new decals
Mavic 222 wheelset (much lighter than the 521) from another donor bike
Spesh Storm Control tyres
XT mech, new 9spd cassette/chain and SLX shifter, new BB
Removed front mech rings etc, NW chainring fitted
WTB manganese saddle from donor, light and comfy!
On-one El Guapo kit (so cheap!) Saloon Riser sweep back bars, top cap, seatpost and clamp, kore stem, lock on grips
New Avid SD levers and v-brakes, new cables & outers
Last things to do, fit the Truvativ Husselfelt cranks I got for £15 and get the chain line nice, and then ride it! Been through many combo of bar/stem/saddle but this feels the best combo. Didn't get a chance to weigh but I think it must still be 25lbs ish, feels sturdy but nimble
will have to get used to these wide, swept bars!

I actually picked a Parkwood 27.5 frame for £50 today so following a few final touches I might actually stick the Trek up for sale! Feel bad as I've only been up the road on it, but spending time building it has kept me sane for the first few months since my little boy arrived, so it has served a purpose!
Might hang onto the forks and some of the El Guapo kit for the Parkwood, so some more fiddling to do - got a bike stand for Xmas too
