That's what I thought/hoped, thanks for checking.
I'm undecided about whether it's worth trying to save the bike (my XC), or whether the dreaded chain stay crack will inevitably return:

Mine's done ~1200 quite gentle miles before letting go exactly as the one in that picture has, so I suppose I could expect to extend it's life by ~1000 miles. My other option is to get a steel equivalent built. Need to think some more...
