Hope the new owner has shortened the rear brake cable housing.

Did you ever remove the Yank safety screw surrounds on the rear mech ? That mech would have been made for the USA market.

Interesting that you mentioned that, as I'd never seen a Super Record rear mech with that cover fitted before. It's kinda fitting that the bike's going to my American friend!!

I built that bike a few years ago, barely rode it and sold it to the seller. I spoke to him recently and he tells me that it's still spotless. Could be a bargain indeed . .

Is it a Look frame that you sourced components for or did you get the frame made like on this thread?
