98 stumpy m2 project

Here's my latest toy. 98 M2 stumpy frame in mango purchased from mynchiboy. Z1 x-fly's. Don't ask about the cranks (they literally double the weight of the build) but until I find someone with a spare RH octalink crank (or I give up and bite the bullet and just buy a new chainset) they're all i've got.
Thinking of putting the front DX v-brake on to match the rear.

Have the same frame (colour and all) in size 15.5". The cranks don't look too bad, but the pedals, I remember them weighing a ton and not being very grippy either.

I like that a lot. What are those bombers like? Have some 2007 ones which are ok, and obviously the original Z1s were awesome, so just curious really

How come you have a hosepipe attached to the saddle in the 1st picture?
You wont get very far with that, or is it the new hydration system??

the forks have that bomber feel you expect and are really light but i may have to add some air (need an adapter from chainreaction).
The cranks are just a bmx 3-piece running with mtb bb cups, never really been sure of the make but they've always been reliable. they just dont really fit in with the feel of the bike now tho.
