hmm should probably get some pics up of how it looks now.
took the magura off as it wasnt stopping me (think it needs a service and is now up for sale £15 inc postage if anyone wants it)

i'd run it with discs but still can't get my hands on the specialized disc mount for these early FSRs (can't afford a brake therapy one)

A friend of mine had the EXACT same bike as this. I remember his excitement when he got it on finance for a lot of money! He stuck Magura rim brakes on and it was a brilliant all rounder, SOO light as well

Great to see some pictures of Ground Control FSRs on here. I have a GC FSR Comp that I love dearly.

quick update on this one.

XT M760 running gear & front V brake, LX M570 wheels (can't remember the rims off the top of my head)
everything else is LX M560 except the cranks which are some cheap truvativs.

generally a bit of a mish mash of parts, but the main thing is the way it rides which is AWESOME!!!!

almost got mine to a point where i can finish it! (just need some goddamn wheels) and i'm off!

looking forward to taking it out on the downs for some muddy behaviour!!!

standard rockshox deluxe.

keep trying to get a better one, but it's supprisingly hard to find and win an auction for a 165mm i2i shock on ebay lol. (at least one that i can afford)
