watching this with interest, some nice builds through its various guises.

How do you find it runs with reasonably long travel forks on an older frame, is the geometry still ok?

Always liked the look of these.
 
not noticed alot of difference in the handling to be honest.
except that it has become alot more able to handle anything i throw at it :D

Love it, that looks great. I managed to loose a shed load of weight on mine as well. The low end bikes used the same frame as the top end bikes costing nearly twice as much. I'm on my second rebuild in twelve years and i've managed to get the weight down to just shy of 12kg from a hernia inducing 14.9kg.........but as the saying goes lbs=£s :(
 
Rear Shock

Just curious what rear shock you have? Is it just the standard fox float r 165mm i2i?
Just hoping to pick one up & fix that RS shock for something better finally!
