98 SID fork, disc mounts?

I have a 1995 StumpJumper FSR, kind of spare and am tempted by the idea of putting disc brakes on it. I don't want to go modern though as some have one here "neo retro" or whatever, but just get some forks and maybe an adapter for the rear.

The frame is currently blue, similar to sid forks although it would need a repaint, but the colour made me think of SID's

I have seen SID's from the 98/99/00 era and they appear so different, I can't figure out which ones have disc mounts, and whether those disc mounts are "special" or generic.

I am a complete disc brake virgin so information and facts are very welcome.

1998 Judy XC's had disk mounts, not sure if that helps though. They are IS type mount not the current post mount.

The 98 SID came out without discmounts, but later in that year discmounts came on the fork.
So, 98 SID can have discmounts.

You can also change get a modern fork and get it painted in the right colour and right decals.
