97 Ku build

I was lucky enough to secure this 97 Ku a few weeks ago

I’ve quite a few builds on currently so it’ll again be a slow one whilst I find the right bits.

I’m thinking to keep it as bright as possible. Possibly a yellow Judy Sl and green Wildgrippers


Happy to hear any suggestions.

KU09702049, 1 of only 10 1997 Ku's on record, and only the 2nd in orange. It's the "first" 1997 Ku on record as well.

Thankfully still in it's original colour and decals so no stressing for you this time

Yes the colour will be staying original for sure.

White or biscuit coloured tyres and a blue fork (SID Race Ti or Z2,3,4 bomber in blue!!

Possibly a 98 SID but any newer would break my rule of only going 1 year other direction for parts

Yes they are mate. On m950 hubs but these are actually from another bike that’s mid build.

I was just playing around with bits. I’ve actually nothing yet for the Ku

Burn the tyres, tyres should be black. HTH
