97 Kona King Kahuna w/ titanium Project Two

headtube

Old School Hero
Life is too short not to own the best frameset you'll ever ride. This 1997 is (19") from C to top. No dents, gouges, broken bits, or stripped threads. This frame has ovalized tubing unlike the Hei Hei. Comes with Kona seatpost collar and XT fr. Dee. Really excellent condition.

And here it is... the rarest fork you will ever own. One of a kind. As far as I know this is the only one on the planet... because it is a "threadless" titanium Project Two made by Sandvik for Kona.
The steer tube is 8.5" in length. The fork legs are 395mm from axle to crown. The diameter of the legs are 1,1/8". Decals are perfect. This fork is fully fabricated in titanium, aside from the brake pivots (aluminum) and star nut which is included. The weight is 657 grams. This was Kona's answer to a light weight race fork in the early 90's. Condition is absolutely mint. A 9.5 out of 10... for both - £1,000.00 shipped.

You can buy just the frame for £400 + shipping. Or just the fork for £600 shipped.

No disappointments!

King Kahuna

Hi,

I would love to have the frame if you will ship it to Denmark and if the shipping cost ain't a million :)

Hope to hear from you.

Absolutely beautiful forks...I want them badly to go on the Hei Hei by by bank balance says no :(

Just a request for the buyer of the forks - please don't cut the steerer! Even if it means 6inches of spacers, I'll gladly provide them... ;)

Perhaps we should just ban anyone under 6' from buying them...? That would include me as well then, so I wouldn't feel so bad about being so poor

I'll go back to drooling quietly now...

Don't worry my '92 Hei Hei has a 150mm headtube so these forks are perfect ;) [assuming I'm first in line to buy ]
