'97 Bomber Z1 Service Question

Hiya,

I've recently stripped down a set of Bombers and changed the oil and seals. I neglected to grease the oil and dust seal before re inserting the stanchions as I read somewhere that the forks were open bath and therefore everything would nicely self lubricate. After re assembly, the forks do feel a little bit sticky.

Have I made a terrible mistake? Do I need to drain the oil, remove stanchions and grease the seals?

have you used new seals?
If so, they'll burn out quicker.

if not, and you haven't used any cleaning solvents, you may get away with it.
There's probably enough slop in the bushings by now, that they will lubricate themselves...

yes, Ive used new seals. The bushings are like new Does this mean I need to re do them again and this time stick some grease in? I'm guessing yes.
