I have a GT lts 500 and the rear on my is painted that colour and it's steel if that helps

Mine is a 700 series. I'm not worried about sticking to org factory stuff. That was the way I bought it. so I kept it that way. My swingarm is aluminum which I think is why mior was asking about polishing it. Do you have a pic of yours?
EDIT 7000 series, at least that is what the sticker says. I know absolutely nothing about this bike and it's cousins. All I know is it gets me to town and back and looks pretty good doing it. lol

No mate I get a pic tomorrow mines the one were the swing arm come from the seat I didn't know if you knew what swing arm was I can't find much on mine either I think main difference is the rts swing arms come from the bottom and are older and the lts swing arm comes from seat and are later
