Ones a 19” steel frame double butted other is a straight gauge Ti tube?

A double butted steel mtb frame of the psyclone era is usually 1.850 grams give or take while a titanium straight gauge is in the 1600 grams ball park. A 2000 grams titanium 26in frame would be a tank and i never heard of anything like that.
