Retro Newbie
Hey guys, I’m very new to the mtb world. Last week I noticed my neighbor had some bikes out at the curb waiting for the garbage truck or scrap man to come and pick up. One of them being a cannondale m900 in need of some love. I’ve been wanting a bike to ride around and follow my 3 year old on her tricycle so I rescued the old cannondale brought it up to the bike shop and a few days later she was ready to ride. They put new tires/tubes, grips, chain , seat along with a tune up. Here are some before and afters. Let me know anything I need to know about this cool old bike! IMG_3669.jpeg

Measure the seatube to the top.
If it's 41cm then it's tiny, if it's 55 then it hugh
If it's in between it is either medium or large (50cm)

VintageCanadian website will get you lots of info.

That crank is probably worth a lot to someone.

The bike looks nice

There will be a cannondale expert who can tell by eye etc.

(they give effective top tube, but that is harder to measure, or should I say describe how to measure.)

Maybe there is something on the website I mentioned.

Hey guys just an update I found out the frame is a size small. No wonder why I look like an ogre riding it haha. I still think it’s a cool bike and will either keep it for my wife to ride or try to sell it or trade it to get myself something that fits better to my size
