After being informed of this site by a guy in a bike shop in Colchester, I started to dribble over the pages of bikes which as a spotty kid had thumbed through MBUK dreaming of owning!
I decided to build myself a road hack sort of training bike - with weight and functionality in mind, yet retaining the retroness....
I appreciate that it wont be to everyones taste, but i ride it, i love it, and i would love to do something else soon....
This now hangs next to the ula supreme which is the modern off road hack!
The frame was bought from Jez on here - thanks Jez
I started to buy all the bits I required and as much as i loved the colour, I had it sand blasted..
I then had it Powdercoated by a local company in Audi White (Gloss) and started the build...
Stickers were sourced by our well known friend on here! Thank you - top quality and great service!
The bikes been great - Ive completed the London to Cambs on it and the Essex 100 - oh....and do between 40 & 60 miles on it every Sunday - Thanks Retrobike for the inspiration!
