95 Kona Hahanna

I saw this on CL about 6 months ago and thought about buying it because the price was good but it was set up as a SS so I waited until he came down on the price. The bike came with the brakes and levers, white bits and Deore crankset. When I arrived to pick up the bike I asked if he still had all of the take off parts and he said he did have all of it and threw it in. I added the black LX parts along with 2 chainrings, I am looking for the right bash guard still so not 100% done. The only piece missing to reinstall the canti's is the fork cable stop and those sometimes get pricey so one day I'll get one. The tires I robbed off of the Fat Chance, better match on this rig. Hubs are XT and rims are Bontrager BCX. The bike comes it at 24.5 lbs, not bad for a low end frame.

Brought the bike closer to stock with the original canti brakes and levers, did not care for the V-brakes on this frame. Shifters remain as well as the LX bits because they do look nice on the bike. I did buy this to flip so am hoping with a more modern look and some retro will help sell it quicker. I was saving the brakes for an Explosif I have on the back burner, it's currently outfitted with Ritchey and XT bits and waiting to get the fork resized so it might be a few months. Gotta fund some other builds and stay busy. Any suggestions on the rear brake cable routing? Kinda off center so was thinking to turn it some to align better and put a sleeve over the cable for less friction.

A dream bike for me as a 16-17yo. They were available locally to me in Leicester bike shops, but too out of reach price-wise (i think they sold for £375 iirc). I delivered coupons once a week at the time for £4.50

I love the bronzey-brown paint job and slinky look.
