'95 Cannondale M400

Hey Guys

Joined the site a couple of weeks back so thought it's about time I posted some pic of my bike ;-) (seem to be in reverse order...)

'95 (i think based on catalogue scans) Cannondale M400 (owned from new)
Rock Shox Judy XC (SL innards for free on warranty )
- I think I probs bought these in 97??
- thanks to Tim and Scant for Brace and screws to repair these...
XT Front Mech
XT Rear Mech
XT Brake Levers
Gripshift changers (yeah I've seen the cool wall but I like 'em :-D)
ControlTech bars
Some cheapy Bontrager stem
XT V-Brakes front and rear
Original Coda Chainset
Original Veta SL saddle (needs changed - one on the way)
Original Mavic Rims....getting a bit worn now

What's next for it?
Would like a matching Control Tech stem. Headset 1 1/8"
Maybe an XT chainset? getting difficult to find 7-speed compatible stuff eh...

Other than that I'm happy. It's served me well up the hills of bonnie Scotland.

Next year will compliment it with a new Stumpy I think.....although can see I may end up buying an older Stumpy too from here.....

looks good to me.

I'd just cut the cable a little shorter, move the saddle fprward and titl it up a bit unless it will screw your riding habits

just put the new seat tube and seat clamp on this morning so no doubt that'll get tweaked tomorrow when i'm in the hills.

now you mention the cables, they do look a bit long. now....do i sort it and have the hassle of a re-setup or just leave it.........

95 sounds about right but check on vintage cannondale for a positive date by serial number. Should try to get down to Stirling for the macretro meet. Nice bike BTW

sounds do-able, just a couple of hours drive south. probs bring a couple of mates too

i see i missed one in June, is this yearly or more often?

I could be wrong but that was the inaugural event, and this ones a blast before the summer ends, might even be another before the years out.
